Pilar Mill\u00e1n es artista visual y reside en Berl\u00edn. Sus proyectos multidisciplinarios se dirigen hacia las fronteras culturales, sociales o pol\u00edticas, y sus consecuencias en nuestra sociedad actual. En la mayor\u00eda de sus proyectos dirige sus investigaciones a partir de mitos, como una arqueolog\u00eda de ideas trascendentales inherentes al ser humano y sus manifestaciones contempor\u00e1neas.<\/p>\n

Como artista europea, intenta reflejarlo sobre posiciones canonizadas occidentales desde una perspectiva transcultural. La obra de Pilar Mill\u00e1n se materializa en proyectos, la mayor\u00eda de ellos con base participativa. Se presentan generalmente como instalaciones que pueden combinar fotograf\u00eda, v\u00eddeo, dibujo y pintura, objetos y audios. Con estas instalaciones crea espacios que profundizan con un lenguaje contempor\u00e1neo en capas de diferentes narrativas.<\/p>\n
